Or this one?

It looks like a 3D model on the ground, movies on screens above, viewed from hallways on the sides.

Thanks!

The round discs have pictures of various Japanese cities.
The lighted cylinders look like pieces of coral.

If memory is not failing me, I believe the exhibit in the above shot to be one of exhibits in the "drums" (or were they supposed to represent petals?) of the Japan Pavilion.

The map is Hokkaido and then the main island viewed from the north. The space bears a striking resemblance to Auric Goldfinger's lethal Ft. Knox map room.

The 3-D model with movie screens and hallways is the interior of the Local Governments' Pavilion.

I was able to locate a color photo of this same exhibit in the "Expo '70 Hi-Lite Album" and it is also in the Local Governments' Pavilion.

I was able to locate a color photo of this same exhibit in the "Expo '70 Hi-Lite Album" and it is also in the Local Governments' Pavilion. This was a ride-through exhibit in a building located next to the Japanese Government Pavlion, the "drum" or "petal" like structure that gary h referred to in an earlier post.
