I was Googling stuff about one of my old hobbies, flying model airplanes, and I stumbled into this!

"Designed to capitalize on the hype surrounding the 1939 Worlds Fair, Herb Greenburg created this elegant rubber band-powered model for the Scientific Model Company. Though sometimes credited with designing both the 50" and the 30" versions, only the 50" was designed by Greenburg. The 30" version was designed, in fact, by Don Garfallo at a later date due to the success of the 50" version. A fine choice for Large rubber cabin. This replica of the original 50" model was built by Allen Heinrich from an R/N Models kit. It is covered with domestic tissue."
