I have a small batch of images from the Century 21 Expo, and this one was included. Does anybody know anything about it? I might guess it is from the Hall of Industry, but am probably wrong!

My guess would be the Transport '21 pavilion, which was focused on railroads. Nice slide! Let us know when you put these on your blog.

That model car top left looks like my dad's 1960 Rambler station wagon- maroon with white top.

Those Milwaukee Road cars lower left presaged containerization!
Trains with 4 Vista-Domes in the consist never came to pass, alas.

Thanks for your input, Bill, Randy and Mike!

Bill, I put a few up already:

And I think this particular photo of the model train will go up on January 17. Yes, I am working on posts that far in advance!

OK, here's another mystery... check out this beautiful, extremely futuristic car model! You can see that the Philco exhibit was next door, but presumably the car belonged to some other exhibit (Ford?).

Ford had a major display there, so that makes sense. What an odd looking car!

It kind of reminds me of the GM Firebird concept cars too, though it is certainly different from those.

Philco was acquired by Ford on December 11, 1961, according to an internet search.

I have a Philco brochure from the Ford exhibit at the '64-'64 fair.

Mike, they're probably members of the same Procrastinator's Club who showed up in New York for the World's Fair in 1966. :)
