A note of interest here is that they included the text "CAMERAS ADMITTED FREE" on the cover page.

The 1893 Columbian exposition had charged a photo license fee that was four times greater than the general admission, and limited the size of negatives.

Very interesting. I never knew other fairs had charged an admission fee to bring in a camera.
