1933-34 Chicago World's Fair presentation May 11

Recommended Posts

I will be giving a talk on the 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair, aka the Century of Progress Exposition, at the Schaumburg, IL Public Library on May 11 at 7 PM. If you're a fan of this Fair, or world's fairs in general, I hope you will join us. The library told me the seats are going fast, which was nice to hear, but they do have spots available. You need to register online but the event is free. Their website is http://schaumburglibrary.org/

Let me know if you'll be there!

Bill

Well, now that I'm out of the area, you do this!  Wish I could attend.

I hope there will be video later?

BTW, I lived in Schaumburg from 1974 to 2000, and you can thank me and the other, less than 2000, library supporters who bothered to vote to fund the library expansion and construction of facilities in which you will be speaking. Schaumburg library has the largest circulation in the Chicago area with the exception of the combined Chicago public libraries.
