Welton Becket

Architect Welton Becket,designer of the GE Progressland pavilion, would have been 100 years old on August eighth. In a career spanning five decades he left a rich legacy of buildings in southern California including the L. A. Music Center, Capitol Records, the Sports Arena and the Santa Monica Civic Auditorium.

Becket died in 1969.
