It looks so much more attractive from this view than from the ground.
Bill, what is the structure (white) to the left of the Hawaii pavilion? I never really noticed it before and it bears a vague resemblance to the style of the NYS pavilion at Expo.
Jim, I think that is part of the Hawaii Pavilion, a restaurant called the "Five Volcanoes."
Yes, that was the Five Volcanoes.

As I look at those buildings, I realize they look a bit like an upside down dairy creamer container--the ones that are often found on restaurant tables or booths and used for coffee. I suppose the 1967 NYS pavilion had a very similar look but in blue.
The pedestrians are in a mass exodus on the three Glide-a-Rides crossing the bridge!
