I just stumbled across this image of a stunning looking pavilion: http://de.wikipedia....=20050521224537 on German wikipedia.

I think (but my schoolhood German is a dim memory) that this rather lovely looking building was a pavilion (Morrocco?) from the Vienna exhibition, and is now in Linhof Castle grounds.

It looks quite amazing.

(And here is the English wikipage for the world's fair itself: http://en.wikipedia....llung_1873_Wien)

I think you're referring to Schloss Linderhof, one of Ludwig's pads.
Been there a couple of times, but never knew this. Thanks!
