New to this so not really sure of the etiquette. My Dad (who is 81) has a Greyhound Escorter that he would like to find more information about. Mostly, the value of it. It is in good condition. The engine is like new since it was removed from the escorter and stored for the past 35 years. He'd really like to sell it but we can't really find another one anywhere that is for sale.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

There was another member here that had one, but we haven't heard from him in a few years.
His saga is somewhere in the archives.
Oh, did I mention, we need pictures?

Of course that hose will need replacing on the engine- easy enough it would seem. And the seat cushions- both driver and passenger- are not original.
I'd never noticed those 'No Step' decals before, but they look original.
Do you see a box near the engine compartment with the word Dukane on it? That would be the musical horn. An ingenuous mechanical device which our board members reverse-engineered a few years ago. If it's there but you can't get it to work, we've got a couple of people here who know how to fix it- and have fixed at least two of them to date.

BTW - Do you have any photos of the dash panel?
There was some discussion here a while back about the layout of the dash...

Could the middle one be a fuse holder?

Do you, or your father know what the rectangular object is on the right-hand side of the dash (see attachment)? From the previous dialog on this forum, that we learned that there is a 3" diameter hole behind that rectangle, but we could never figure out exactly what it was for...
Even more curious is the fact that in some photos taken during the Fair, the object that was mounted there appears to be circular in shape instead of rectangular (see the image in the lower left-hand corner of my attachment)...
Cheers!
