I need help identifying what this toy is. The box reads: Miniature Stran-Steel Century of Progress Garden Home. According to the box it is a dollhouse for girls or an erector set for boys. All of the pieces are present and wrapped in the original paper. I did unwrap them once to get photos because I have having trouble finding info on the toy house itself. One one of the pieces it sayd copywrite The Mathews Co, Detroit MI. The box is in pretty good shape. The instructions for putting the item together are present in full and there was also a pamphlet that tells about the history of the real home. I would like to know exactly what this is and what is it possibly vauled at. Thank you for any help you can give me. Attached are some pictures. Email me at EMTRescue01@ yahoo of you have any questions or ideas as to where I can look the value up.
By the way....nice to see there are areas like this on the internet. I have interest in vintage pressed steel and tin toys. Lately, I find my self living in the past, haha, I am beginning to have an interest in dollhouses too. Probably because I never had one as a child. Anyway...looking forward to spending time on this site, as looking up information on the "dollhouse" I have began an interest in the Worlds Fair.
