  1. Hello, I'm producing a new series for National Geographic, called America's Lost Treasures. The concept of the show is Antiques Roadshow meets History Detectives. What sets our show apart from similar shows like this out there, is that we are looking for interesting objects that can tell the history of a particular region of the United States through the owners personal connection to their object. Well, we received a 1876 Philadelphia Centennial Exposition medal (photos attached) from a man who said that it was given to his great, great grandfather by the Centennial committee for his engineering and construction work on buildings that were built in Fairmount Park, Philadelphia for the Exposition. So my question to you, if you happen to know the answer, is... 1) What were these bronze medals given out for? 2) What was the difference between the bronze, silver and gold medals? Please Advise
