  1. This is a silver (at least it looks like silver to me, i'm no expert) trinket box that my Grandmother gave to me for Christmas many years ago. For the life of me, I can't remember how she obtained it. Anyway, the inside of the box says "New York World Fair, July 28th 1939". It says Made in Japan on the bottom, and has a circle with a flag in it, with the letter "S" on the flag. The box does indeed look very old, and I was hoping to find out if it really was from the fair. And if so, (or even if it isn't) if its worth any money. I'm not trying to sell the box, but I just would like to know what i've had lying around for some time now. I would really appreciate any input! Thank you so much
