  1. Saw this yesterday...You can't start the next chapter of your life until you stop reading the last!....so true!

  2. Funny!!!!, def not PG! Mgm theatre.

  4. Christmas 2011 -- Birth of a New Tradition As the holidays approach, the giant Asian factories are kicking into high gear to provide Americans with monstrous piles of cheaply produced goods -- merchandise that has been produced at the expense of American labor. This year will be different. This year Americans will give the gift of genuine concern for other Americans. There is no longer an excuse that, at gift giving time, nothing can be found that is produced by American hands. Yes there is!...

  5. Expo 2015 Concepts

Seems to lack the creativity of design of the individual pavilions as in Shanghai and Aichi but perhaps better off for reuse and being 'green' I am a big fan of the architecture of the fairs and it is always a highlight for me. Jason
  6. I've been to 11 Expos myself and I would have to agree that 2008 may be my favorite as well.....they really followed the theme

  7. Anybody visiting Yeosu?

I'll be heading there for at least two weeks. early June or early July. Also going to try to hit Shanghai again and see what the Expo site looks like now....and visit the Saudi Arabia pavilion which is still open and was one of the few I was unable to make it in to.
  8. Hey Ken,

Nice to find someone the same age interested in Expos. I am heading to Shanghai mid Sept. Are you going to make the Expo?

    1. Ken

Yes....I was there with my brother in September of 2010 also.

  9. Expo Sites-What are they now?!

Just wondering if anyone else has an interest in information on what past Expo sites are like now? There is very little info and documentation on this. I wish the Expo committees would do followup on deconstruction and placement of Expo buildings etc. I have been to every Expo since 1982(except) for Taejon 1993) and would love to see some of the sites. I did get the fortune of visiting Tsukuba recently and was surprised to see absolutely nothing remained except for the park area and a memorial statue? What do you think?
