  1. Spanish Village

    Thanks for your help!
  2. Hi there, I was wondering if anybody has any information about the Spanish Village at Seattle's World's Fair? I've been trying to do some research on this fair to see if Spain participated in it. I know that Spain didn't have a pavilion, but were the Spaniards represented somehow in this Spanish village? Who organized the Spanish village? What happened inside the Spanish village? None of the official guidebooks or newspaper articles I've seen mention any details about it. Thanks in advance for your help.
  3. Hello, I'm a Spanish historian who is doing work right now on dancing in the Spanish Pavilion of the NY World's Fair. As I was doing a search, I saw that you had dancers from the Pavilion, but I can't seem to access them. Would you be willing to let me see them somehow? Thanks.
  4. Well, the 1992 celebration took place in Seville, Spain, commemorating the 500-year anniversary of Colombus. It does make more sense to have the fair in Spain than in Chicago, especially considering that Columbus never set foot in Chicago!
  5. Dear All (New member here): I am a historian who is looking for information related to Spain's participation in World's Fairs between 1851-1979. Specifically, I would like to know if anybody has any information about Spanish dance acts at these various world's fairs. I have New York, 1964-65 covered, but any info. regarding other fairs would be much appreciated. Thanks!
