I wrote to NASA's photo library asking if they could supply any images of their displays at Century 21. They said they didn't have any but referred me to a website of photos on the Fair.
It was my own site.
Pretty funny in a way, but also pretty sad that they don't have anything themselves. They've referred my search to another office so the search continues. I'll keep you all posted f I make any progress.
They also couldn't come up with any 1964 NYWF images.

A sad commentary on NASA

Where I work, we call that a "Circular Reference Error" (a term used in Excel spreadsheets when a formula refers back to its own cell...).
The way it usually happens to me is when I pose a question to a co-worker in an email - and after it gets forwarded around to a dozen or so other co-workers, it eventually gets forwarded back to me by some later recipient asking if I might know the answer to the question!
It is indeed a sad commentary on NASA - but then again, these are the same people who ERASED the best video footage of the Apollo 11 moon landing, so I guess we shouldn't be too surprised that they don't have any photos of their displays at the '62 and '64-65 fairs...

That is too funny. I've been searching for info and photos of their exhibit and so far
your site has given the best results.
