I love these photos! the first I have seen of this Fair other than an old Google Earth Ærial! Thanks so much for providing more info!

Amazingly colorful - wish I had been there - but on the other hand, I would have been tempted to see everything through a viewfinder.

Nice pix, Urso... thanks for sharing them.

Couldn't help noticing Italy's cool nod to past fair design. The simple, box-like architecture of their Pavilion in 2005 may have been a far cry from their towering waterfall in 1939-- but their font choice is certainly the same:
