Where to stay in Shanghai?

Hello, I am sure a lot of people on this board probably have visited and are going to the Shanghai Expo

I am going in September, but doesn't know where to stay at yet. Since I will be spending most of my time at the expo site and the city, the room doesn't need to be fancy, but just clean and decent. Any suggestions and recommendations are welcomed! Thanks in advance for your help!

I stayed at the Jin Jiang New Asia hotel which is located within walking distance of the Bund, Nanjing Road and other tourist destinations. The room rate was $54.00US per night for two. I'd say the hotel was the level of a Holiday Inn, was very clean and was a short walk to the subway for transportation to Expo. Jin Jiang is a chain of hotels in China with several properties in Shanghai. They have a website which you can Google. I'd stay there again and would highly recommend for budget accommodations.
